In the Carolinas, more than 700 children are diagnosed each year. As of September 1, Children’s Cancer Partners has welcomed 226 new families, each facing the unimaginable. Unfortunately, only 9 of 146 counties in the Carolinas offer pediatric cancer care. Families often travel long distances to receive proper treatment, averaging $10,000 in expenses for travel, lodging, and meals. These aren't just statistics. These are real Carolina families.
